IOWA 80
Shortly after crossing the border into Iowa (May 01, 2010), we stopped at the Worlds Largest truckstop, IOWA80. They had showers, a mall-like shopping area with almost anything and everything imaginable, church services, a theatre, and a barber shop. I wanted to buy a purple Native American mystical animal montage t-shirt (featuring a smiling polar bear or wolf taming woman) but they came in XXL and up sizes only. Mateo got his hair cut: the Mohican special (a.k.a. He got a mohawk!)
Here are a few pictures from the amazing truck stop:

Here's a tip for your next trip through Iowa on Route 6. If you are on I-80, you are not on Historic Route 6, and you will not see much of the real Iowa, such as the Wilton Candy Kitchen (World's Oldest continously operated Ice Cream Soda Fountain) and the White Pole Road just for starters. 40 percent of Route 6 is moved onto I-80, but is still in place, and easy to follow. Anyone who wishes to visit Iowa on Route 6 is welcome to contact me through Route 6 Tourist Association website, and I will Email you, free of charge, turn by turn driving directions.
